Sorry to be negative, but if it’s going to be as bad as 2016, I’d rather skip it… 🙂

Easy, if you are a little boy.

When my grandson was about three or four, his other grandma passed away after a long illness. That was not going to happen to him; when the dying time comes to me, I’ll just jump over it.

Rather optimistic, when the time comes, we might not all be able to do much jumping…. 🙂

The little ones believe they are invincible. Let them enjoy it while it lasts, is my attitude, there’s a lot of years when we know reality! Cheers, Helvi.

Happy New Year, Jennifer. 2017 – bring it on, Battlesheep!! “We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender”.

We will fight on the land (owned by overseas interests, we shall fight at the ports(some owned by Chinese interests, we shall fight in the economy (50%+ of Earth’s economy owned by the global 1% of population, including Australia, we shal fight, until we can no longer fight, that’s where I’m at, I wish all ‘sheep’s’ contributors a happier 2017 than 2016.

Thanks Shaun, and all the very best to you this coming year. It will be interesting, I’ve no doubt about that.

Happy Ewe year, but how the ewe year turns out will depend on the wether, although much will come down micron-economic reform.

Just mulsing over this. I observe the visitation of Madame Dafarge and marvel at the shear brilliance of the observation… “it was the best of times and the roast with thymes”.

So, fleece-itations all, esp Jennifer…must flee now lest I am drenched being fleeced gambolling at Casino.

Good, but too much woolly thinking.

I’d prefer to ram a few of the ovine inclined until they bleat, and perhaps until they accompany the rosemary and mint sauce.

      🙂

Happy New Year from Yorkshire. May it turn out to be more peaceful than most of us expect.

I was born in North Yorkshire Nan. Right now, in sweltering sun & humidity that is hostile to human life, I wish I was there.
All the very best to you & yours this year.

Thank you for your kind best wishes Jennifer. I had imagined you basking in the Australian summer whilst we shiver, I hadn’t realised the heat was so unbearable.

HNY! As a former sheep farmer I love your Battlesheep. I’ve had a few ‘steel woollers’ in my time… Looking forward to you waging a few more battles in 2017, Jennifer. I think I’m addicted to your blog.

Thanks, rhyll. I suspect this year will offer many opportunities for me to feed your addiction.
All the best to you & yours.

Should we expect less from someone who has completed post grad ewe-niversity studies?

We understand that Ewe Zealand higher education for sheep can be of a more rigid framework though, no staff shortages must help of course since even nervous sheep have any number of male instructors to usher lambkins through their courses.

Oops well I’m making myself sparse until I have to. Inexplicably Knecht Ruprecht didn’t materialise on the 24th so I’m just gonna have to keep self-flaggelating until I feel I deserve to face the world again. See ya*-)
